Travelling with Swiss Travel Pass and German Rail Pass from Frankfurt to Germany

We are tourists, and we are planning to take a train from Frankfurt to Luzern. If we have both a valid German Rail Pass and a valid Swiss Travel Pass on the same day, will we no longer need to buy any tickets, to take the train all the way from Frankfurt to Luzern? And if their is no train change on the route, will we no longer need to get off the train at the border between Germany and Switzerland?

What tickets you need in Germany I am unable to say.

Arriving from Germany, the Swiss Travel Pass is valid from Basel Bad station. Your Swiss Travel Pass must be valid at border crossing, that’s all.

There is only one direct service per day from Germany to Lucerne, the EC 151. Otherwise you are required to change trains at Basel SBB station. There are two direct services per hour bound for Lucerne from Basel SBB station.

Use the SBB Mobile app for public transport schedules in Switzerland.

Good day, we purchased a Saver day Pass ticket, is it vald to use for a destination from Frankfurt to Heilbronn as we are unable to get a full refund for this ticket. Please advise what is the best option. Thank you

Saver Day Passes are only valid in Switzerland. So you cannot use them for Frankfurt-Heilbronn.
