Sure, but they have exceptions to that for good reasons. Like the winter direct connection from Geneva to Le Chable.
I assume this connection existed for people who lived in the area and go to work in Geneva. Makes sense because the direct train time is not much more than 35 minutes but changing in Morges brings it close to an hour. That’s why I ask the question.
Of course, if they could have better connections to Geneva through the day it would be great! But I guess they prefer to subsidize cars rather than trains.
