Changing the name on a ticket

I entered the wrong last name on a ticket, that doesn’t match my U.S. I.D. How can I fix this issue?

Tickets cannot be amended, you have to request a refund and repurchase.

What is the issue with the name? Completely wrong?

It is not a Supersaver ticket or a Saver Day Pass, you could ask for a refund, just as mentioned here:

Hello, and thank you for the help here.
To make sure I understand correctly, and proceed as best as possible, is the following process the best next steps for me? (My trip starts in 7 days for the Swiss Pass.)

Submit cancellation request/refund request
Purchase new ticket even though I may not receive a confirmation of my refund request?

Hello and thanks again, sorry I forgot to add that yes, the last name is completely wrong. First name, birthday, is correct, last name incorrect.
