I unlocked a publibike with my swisspass and got charged* 5CHF from ’SBB Publibike" on Twint. *Debit has been pending for 3 days so the situation is a bit unclear. I called Publibike as there’s no record of my ride on the Publibike app and I have a business account.
It seems that SBB launched a service to unlock a bike without the need of a Publibike account. However, they don’t seem to take into account whether you already have a publike account of not.
What is unclear is if you can still unlock bikes with your swisspass or should you stick to the app. The transition between the 2 Publibike app is a bit chaotic. Any advice ? I coudn’t find a way to opt out from the SBB service. I want to keep using my swisspass with Publibike which is a great service
