I am writing to submit a claim regarding a significant delay I experienced on my journey from København H to Törbel, Kirche on May 8th. The train EC 391 from København H to Hamburg Hbf was delayed by nearly one hour. As a result of this delay, I missed all subsequent connections and was unable to complete my journey as planned.
Due to the missed connections, I was forced to spend an unplanned night in transit and had to stay at a hostel, incurring additional expenses. My final destination was Törbel, Kirche, and this disruption caused substantial inconvenience and extra costs.
I have attempted to submit a refund claim through your website, but I am caught in a loop that redirects me back and forth between the international and standard claim forms, without allowing me to complete the process.
Could you please advise:
How can I successfully submit my claim as an international traveler?
Whether I can be reimbursed not only for the affected train tickets but also for the additional accommodation expenses I incurred due to the delay?
Attached are my travel tickets and receipts for the hostel accommodation (if you have them – otherwise say you can provide them upon request).
I appreciate your assistance and look forward to your guidance on how to proceed.
