I booked a train ticket through SBB for travel on June 30 from Varenna Esino in Italy to Zermatt in Switzerland. The itinerary includes Varenna Esino – Milano Centrale – Domodossola before continuing into Switzerland. However, I have learned that Varenna Esino station will be closed during that period, and part of the journey will be replaced by bus service. Additionally, due to construction work, part of the Milano – Domodossola segment will also be operated by bus.
As I would like to avoid these inconveniences, I am considering alternative train options. Could you please confirm whether it is possible to get a refund for the Varenna Esino – Milano Centrale – Domodossola segments of the trip?
