Luggage transport

Hi there! I’m looking for answers concerning luggage transport. We are flying into Zurich taking a point-to-point train to Lucerne. From there we will use the Bernese Oberland Pass for 3 days and then have bought point-to-point saver passes from Wengen to Basel. My question is…. Is it possible to use the station-to-station luggage transfer dropping our luggage off at the Zurich train station and picking it up 3 days later at the Basel train station?

Welcome to the SBB Community.

Yes, this is certainly possible provided the SBB Travel Center is open when you wish to check / claim your luggage and you can show the tickets for Wengen to Basel at luggage check-in.

Keep in mind, the Bernese Oberland Pass is NOT valid for Lucerne to Interlaken going via Bern.
With the Bernese Oberland Pass you can use, however, the PE from Lucerne to Interlaken (Luzern Interlaken Express) which I think was your plan anyway.

RolandP Thanks so much Roland for your reply! I really appreciate it! I’m having a hard time knowing which zurich and which lucerne stop to use. Do I need to book this luggage transfer ahead of time or can I just check in when we get to the Zurich trainstation below the airport? Thanks so much for all your help!
