Changing train station in Venice

I bought a ticket on SBB from Venice to Zermatt, picked wrong train station in Venice, should have been Mestre but I picked Venetia st Lucia. Is it possible to board the train at Mestre instead of at Venetia St Lucia.

when I checked the train details on the App Venice Mestre is after Venice S. Lucia. So it should be no problem.

No problem whatsoever. Boarding a train at a later station is perfectly fine.
