Bicycle Box on train

Hello, I will be travelling from Zurich Airport to Zurich Enge. I am travelling with a Bicycle Box (Length: 133cm x H 94cm x Width 50cm). Will I be able to bring it on the train, and if so, what do I need to reserve?

I will also have a large (normal) suitcase and hand luggage.

You need a ½ fare ticket for the bicycle box as you will occupy a bicycle space.

The transportation is possible given you do not block entry doors & aisles and emergency exits, and there is sufficient space.

Are you therefore saying that reservation of the bike space is not mandatory given that it is within a hard case box, and that we will be fine providing there is space elsewhere on that carriage? The ticket that I am booking is saying bike reservation is mandatory but I am assuming given it is a box it just counts as a large piece of luggage?

However to guarantee space we will need to book the bike space for CHF 15? Have I understood everything correctly?

Taking an IC train (with bike reservation requirement) would also require a cumbersome change of trains with all your stuff at Zurich HB (main station).

Better wait for the next S24 or S2 to Enge, which are direct connections without changing trains at HB. If the front wheel is detached in your bike case (what L=133 cm would suggest), then it counts as hand luggage which is not subject to bike restrictions or reservations/tickets.
