Doubt on Unireso/ LemanPass ticketing

Hello to all,

Next month I am planning to visit geneve for the coffee fair, and due to the inhumane hotel rate I decided to stay in Annemasse. I saw that for metropolitan geneve here is the 9olock day pass. I wonder will it be okay to combine it with a simple zone extension for the French part of annemasse instead of getting the LemanPass day pass? I know the price won’t be that much of a difference but I feel the day pass fair in my case is not very justified, consider I will be like 2 min from the station of annemasse (13,2 chf vs 5,6+1,6+1,6)

This is Geneva, an international city and one of the most expensive places on earth.

You can purchase single tickets; they are less costly than a return ticket. There is no other option as either a single or a return ticket. The latter automatically converts into a day pass.
