Please help me with the best combination of cheapest train ticket (BOB) to reach Grindelwald Terminal and Lauterbrunnen from Interlaken Ost in 1 Day and come back to Interlaken Ost. I dont have any kind of passes.

Your question causes a few question marks at my end.

What are your plans for Grindelwald, Terminal? Going up to Jungfraujoch, perhaps? In Switzerland, you can purchase any public transport ticket using the SBB Mobile app. It will suggest you the best ticket option.

So if your plans are to go up to Jungfraujoch, then purchase the return ticket accordingly; you can purchase the whole trip in one ticket. It is valid via Grindelwald Terminal and/or Lauterbrunnen. In addition, the Swiss Half Fare Card is strongly recommended.

If you need a ticket to Grindelwald Terminal and back from Lauterbrunnen, then purchase two single tickets, either full fare or half fare, the latter if you hold the Swiss Half Fare Card.

To simply answer your question:

Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald Terminal, one way, full fare: CHF 11.
Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken Ost, one way, full fare: CHF 7.80.

I am not visiting Jungfrau. How will i go from Grindelwald to Lauterbrunnen? Another ticket? No day ticket or day pass?

Then there’s no point leaving already at ‘Grindelwald, Terminal’, as the Terminal station refers to the new cable car connection to Eigergletscher/Jungfraujoch. Continue one more stop (and get the respective ticket) to ‘Grindelwald’ (= village), check the maps.

Yes, Grindelwald to Lauterbrunnen would mean a 3rd point-to-point ticket. As those destinations in that corner of Switzerland are located outside of a regional fare network, there’s no zone-based local day pass available, only point-to-point tickets. The Saver Day Pass (covering the entire Swiss public transportation network) is too expensive just for those three short journeys.

It is possible to travel from Grindelwald Terminal to Lauterbrunnen via Männlichen - Wengen (cable cars and train) and from Grindelwald (village) by train via Kleine Scheidegg.

Tell us a bit more about your plans. How are you getting to Interlaken? What do you want to do in the Jungfrau Area? Do you have any other plans in Switzerland. Wether a pass or not is useful to you depends on what other trips you have planned.

Krist Coming to Interlaken from Lucerne. Just want to enjoy the scenic beauty of grindelwald village and Lauterbrunnen. We would not need pass, I am sure. Staying in Matten and we will be having Interlaken guest pass.

The Interlaken Guest pass is not very useful, as you can only use it on local buses. So you will need a ticket from Matten (or Wilderswil) to Grindelwald, from Grindelwald to Lauterbrunnen, and then back from Lauterbrunnen.
You can get all that at the first station if you want.

If you get the Swiss Half Fare Card your Luzern - Interlaken, and all other tickets in Switzerland will be discounted by 50%. And that includes mountain railways and cable cars.
