Phimoinnoan84 Also quick confirmation - saver day pass half entitles you free tickets on all modes in the covered areas all day?
So probably even at 59 - it would make more sense than point to point return?
It makes sense if the Saver Day Pass is cheaper as a regular point-to-point ticket or if you want to choose another route for the return journey. From Montreux you could travel for example via Brig - Kandersteg (panoramic Lötschberg line) or via Bern and make a stop in this city.
Saver Day Passes and Supersaver Tickets are not refundable.
Phimoinnoan84 I think I read somewhere that only one can have a half fare card too
It’s exact, only one person must have a Half Fare Card.
With Supersaver Tickets you must take the selected trains, you cannot travel earlier or later. It is not recommended for excursions, you lose any flexibility.
Phimoinnoan84 Lastly since we have quite a few changes in train and chairlifts etc. - do you think buying online on the app is better or buying at the ticket counter at every station equally convenient? Assuming prices are anyways same.
Saver Day Passes and Supersaver Tickets are only available online and you must buy them in advance. Non discounted tickets are available at the stations, prices are always the same.
