Is Zürich HB station open at night?

I have booked a ticket from Bern to Munich but I’m arriving in Zurich HB at 01.30 am and I’m leaving from there to Munich at 05.35am.
Can I wait inside the Zurich HB during that time or the station will be closed at night ?

No, the Zurich HB station is closed. You shall change plans, for example staying at Zurich Airport station instead.

You could take the 4:04 from Bern to Zurich, which would put you in Zurich at 5:28. That way you do not have to hang around the station for hours.

Thank you very much both for your replies.
Unfortunately I have already buy the tickets from Spitz to Munich and it appears as one ticket and I can’t change it.
I can’t understand why they are selling tickets like that when you don’t have the option to stay in the station and wait.

If you travel on Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday nights, the station is certainly open because you have night trains on weekends, also before a holiday.

Some people who buy such tickets can have accommodation to sleep and don’t stay in the station.
