Upgrade to first class only for single train ride for Swiss travel pass

I hold a Swiss travel pass, 2nd class. I wanted to upgrade to 1st class only for a single train journey. Is this possible? If yes, how to do this? I am unfortunately not in Switzerland right now, hence cannot go to a information center.

Hi,
I just followed the steps mentioned in the other post and it seems doable. The only question is, will the half-fare option work for sure? As mentioned in that post,

I selected half fare for each adult
Selected Class upgrade only
It shows 3x Point-to-pOint class upgrade from Zwisemmen to Montreux
Shows 36 CHF for 2 adults

Also, once this is purchased, do I still need to do a seat reservation after this or does this include the seat reservation?

I was able to purchase class upgrade tickets on top of a Swiss travel pass. But I am not able to reserve seats after this purchase. Can you please help me on this? I selected the same route and this time, selected seat reservations only, and it says not available.

I am working as a ticket inspector myself; I would not give advice that would get you into trouble on board the trains.

The seat reservation is on top of the upgrade ticket and to be purchased from the operator, GoldenPass by MOB.
