thank you for your advice, our thoughts are trying to see as much of Switzerland by using the scenic trains as per below, i made a mistake with my previous itinerary.
Arrive in Basel 05 Oct travel to Zurich by train, stay for two nights
07 Oct Zurich - Lucerne by train boat stay for one night
08 Oct Lucerne - Lugano by train (Gotthard EXP) stay one night
09 Oct Lugano – ST Moritz by train (Bernina EXP) stay two nights
11 Oct St Moritz - Zermatt by train (Glacier EXP) stay one night
13 Oct Zermatt - Montreux by train stay one night
14 Oct Montreux – Interlaken/ Wilderswil by train (Golden EXP) stay two nights
16 Oct Interlaken/ Wilderswil – Zurich by train stay one night
17 Oct Fly to Australia
Using the four Scenic trains where available knowing the Jungfrau train to the post office is extra and not covered by the flexi pass.
Are we better getting the Swiss Flexi Pass or the ½ pass, we are aware that whichever we choose we have to book seats, and this is an extra cost, also that the four Scenic trains can’t be booked until 90 days before travel.
