Hello, I am traveling from overseas to Europe in October and would like to fit in Switzerland for 4 days between Paris and Florence.

My original plan was to travel from Paris to Lautenbrunnen (via Basel SBB) on 12 Oct 2025 and then onto Lucerne to get to Florence however there looks to be halted services on all weekends in October. I have limited capacity to change the dates, can anyone suggest an alternate route to get to Lautenbrunnen from Paris? Thanks!

You can also travel via Lausanne or Geneva. Add “via Lausanne” when you search a timetable.

Otherwise, replacement buses will probably be available between Mulhouse or Saint-Louis and Basel.

October is ages away. Just wait till August, and then look again. There will be a way to get from Paris to Lauterbrunnen.
