Swiss Travel Pass and Tickets

Hello. If my wife and I each buy a swiss travel pass and get the swiss family pass for our two children, do we need to buy train tickets or do we just get on any train that fits our time and destination? Sorry if this is a simple question, just wanting to make sure.

But, we do know: travelling in Switzerland by trains, buses, boats, and tramways is very simple. So simple, that people from abroad cannot believe it without having experienced it themselves.

So, YES.
The Swiss Travel Pass allows travel at will on the entire Swiss transit network and this for free according to the passes’ validity map.
