Best option for traveling in Switzerland

When we arrive in Zurich, we will be traveling to Grindelwald and returning to Zurich 5 days later. Is there a travel pass we should pursue?

We are unable to say as we have no clue about your plans while staying in Grindelwald.

the Swiss Half Fare Card plus individual tickets, or
the Berner Oberland Pass, or
the Jungfrau Travel Pass

are possible options.

In case your plan is to hike all the spots around Grindelwald all the way from your accomodation and back (or you prefer spending all the time locked in your room 😉), then there’s no point thinking about travel passes, as regular single tickets between ZRH and Grindelwald would remain the cheapest option.

Those options mentioned by RolandP above only start making sense with all those (sometimes very expensive) mountain railways/cableways etc. located above Grindelwald village.

The hotel is providing the Jungfrau Travel Pass as part of the room offering for our activities in Grindelwald.
Therefore, the only train travel will be to Zurich to Grindelwald and return. Is there a pass that I should pursue?

If you are arriving by air look at at a Saver Day Pass for your arrival day, and either a Supersaver Ticket, or Saver Day Pass, for your departure day. See www.sbb.ch

The Saver Day Pass is what we are going to pursue. It appears you can order it in advance to get the a lower price.

You must order it in advance. There is no Saver Day Pass available on the actual day of travel 🫣
