Online Authorized ticket resellers for swiss half fare card for tourists

I am trying to buy a swiss half fare card for tourists from the SBB website from outside Switzerland and keep getting the error message"an error has occurred in your enquiry" once I login, select to buy a swiss half fare card, select the start date and click the buy button. I tried all the suggestions in another post of deleting browser history, changing browsers, allowing cookies including third party, turning VPN off, my name is also in all caps. so other than turning off my virus software which I cannot really do without de installing (and am not willing to ) I wanted to know where else I could buy the swiss half fare card - what are the online authorized resellers where I can buy the half fare card . And secondly if I do buy it from another website would the card be recognized in SBB website and mobile app and could I link it to my Swiss pass account.

I also just tried to buy a saver day pass without completing the transaction just to see whether I could pinpoint the error and first it asked me to enter the customer data and when I did select no discount card… it looked like the website sbb.ch/en would have allowed me to complete the transaction. So this seems to be an issue with the swiss half fare card only.

is the right URL - I see beta so not sure.

Though my initial post was more out of desperation (trying to find alternative sites to buy the half fare card) if someone can help me to get the purchase working through the sbb website itself that will be preferable.

So what is the issue now? Have you got what you need?

Swiss Half Fare Cards can be seen in the SBB Mobile app provided you have purchased it from SBB as a registered user.

You can go ahead and buy the Saver Day Pass, with Half Fare Card reduction. Just select the HFC under reductions. Whether you have the card is not checked at the time of purchase.

The alternative is to just buy the HFC when you are here. You can buy it at the ticket office when you arrive.

Sorry for the confusion.
I am trying to buy a swiss half fare card. What I was posting the second time was just to try to narrow down the problem on the sbb website to see whether it was widespread or not.
I just tried to buy the swiss half fare card from my phone and I came across something strange. On SBB website on the phone if I dont login but enter the passenger details while trying to purchase I donot get at least the initial error, but if I try on the phone website after logging in to my swiss pass account I get an error.

so it looks like something to do with my profile. I gave my name in all caps, and reselected country of residence (from the drop down - so it is not in all caps). For town I gave my actual town - should I have given my state instead. Not sure whether any validation is occurring.

One thing I did notice is that on the personal details page display my birth date is shown wrongly as 1 day before the date I entered, but when I go to change it I can see the correct date(so there was nothing to change) and in the passenger selection on the page for buying the swiss half fare card it also shows correctly.

So not sure what is the problem.

Current status is that I have not yet been able to purchase the swiss half fare card - I do not want to purchase through the phone without using my login, so would like if it is possible to buy through my computer using my login which currently I am unable to do.

Buying the swiss half fare card is my first step, after which I would like to buy tickets so would really like this problem solved.

It sounds like your device time update setting is set to manual instead of automatic.

Can you check?

I just checked on my computer - in settings - set time automatically is currently on and set timezone automatically is also currently on.

I am of course not in Switzerland so I am in a different timezone.

Also as I said - once I have logged in on the purchase page my birth date is shown correctly.
It is only a day off (earlier) in the personal details page of my account.
When I select change personal details - in the edit page again birth date shows correctly.

I am not sure whether the birth date incorrect display one 1 page is the problem but I cannot think of anything else.

Is there someway to open a support request - so that someone can look at my account.

You do not need to have the HFC in your possession to buy tickets. So you can proceed to the next step, and buy tickets (selecting HFC reduction), and then for example buy the HFC once you arrive here.

You also do not need to buy tickets in advance, unless you want to buy supersaver tickets, which are however not flexible, and not refundable, so a problem if you change your plans.

I requested a refund of superseraver tickets on the SBB mobile app for the reason of purchasing duplicate tickets, can I know when the refund will be approved and refunded? On the same day, I purchased supersaver tickets and saverday tickets and requested a refund.
