3 days in Switzerland, which pass?

Hi. We are arriving through Zurich airport on a Wednesday in Sept. We plan to train to Lucerne (stop for lunch) and train to Lauterbrunen. The 2nd day we will travel to Murren, Schilthorn, Gimmelwald and 3rd day Brienz boat to Geissbach Falls, Brienz. The 4th day (Sat) we will train from Lauterbrunen to Italy through Brig. We are trying to decide which pass is best for a short time period. Would the ½ Fare card be best? We appreciate any input. Thank you.

i purchase a Swiss pass for 8 days. I chose the 24 instead of the 26. Does it matter the days that purchase the card? is it ok that the date is wrong? can i used the pass for the whole year for the duration 8 days?
