Purchasing 1/2 travel card individually or one person?

There are six individual adults traveling in our group to Switzerland and we will be traveling for a week. We all want to buy the ½ fare travel pass. It looks like ONE person can buy all six on the website. Would that person be able to send the passes to everyone in the group? Would it be better if everyone purchased their ½ price pass separately? Thinking about the purchase of tickets at a kiosk or if we split up. Just want to make sure everyone would have their pass on their phone.

If one purchases the Swiss Half Cards (attention, it is not a pass), then the other cannot access the Swiss Half Fare Cards unless you send them the QR code or PDF ticket to be stored on their phone.

If everyone wants to display the Swiss Half Fare Card on their phone in the SBB Mobile app, everyone needs their own account and everyone has to purchase the Swiss Half Fare Card through their own account.

In both cases, all must carry their physical passport with them at all times while they are using e-tickets.

I am going to have everyone buy their own Half Price Card and use it in the app on their phones as opposed to me buying them all and sending to them as a PDF or QR code. I think that makes more sense.
