Business Class seat reservation on RJX train with Eurail

Hi, how far in advance can i make a seat reservation on SBB IC or RJX trains? I have a Eurail pass and want to book business class seats on an RJX train. I do not see this option when trying to make a seat reservation.

Business Class seats are available on RJX trains from Switzerland to Austria. You can reserve them on oebb.at or in ÖBB app for 15 €. Indicate that you have an Eurail Pass as discount.

However, seat reservations may be not open on certain dates when engineering works are planned or the business class may be sold out.

Danhiel Thanks. That might explain why I cannot book currently. I will keep checking.

There is no need to reserve seats on Swiss IC trains, except maybe on busy days on the Gotthard route.And for the business class seats on the RJX you must indeed book via OBB, as in Switzerland these aren just normal 1st class seats…
