[Info] Domodossola - Milano Centrale: Line interruption on 14 OCT & 15 OCT 2023 - Construction work
Due to construction work, the Simplon line will be closed to rail traffic between Verbania and Premosello on 14 & 15 October 2023. Eurocity services will be cancelled between Domodossola and Milano during this time and will be partially replaced by buses.
→ All Eurocity services will be cancelled on the Domodossola - Milano section.
→ Eurocity replacement buses operated by Trenitalia will run between Domodossola and Milano. The replacement buses will stop in Stresa analogous to the Eurocity trains.
→ The online timetable in Switzerland has been adapted. The replacement bus timetables will be added soon, see: www.sbb.ch/en
Milano - Basel SBB:
The EC 51, 53, 57, 59 or 50, 52, 54 and 56 run between Domodossola and Basel SBB or Frankfurt according to the timetable.
Milan - Geneva:
Only EC 35 and 42/44 operate between Domodossola and Brig. All other EC are cancelled between Milano and Genève.
