In case of delay can I use my ticket the next day?

I’m travelling from Brussels to Bubikon/ZH, but in Strasbourg I already have 2h delay and in Basel additional delays are announced which makes the final connection super late around midnight- If I stay over in Basel and continue my journey tomorrow, will my ticket Basel-Bubikon (regular fare w international connection) still be valid?

The period of validity is usually indicated on the ticket. I think that the ticket could be used later only if you cannot reach Bubikon during this period of validity.

If you arrive in Basel SBB before 21:30, you could ask at the InfoPoint SBB or call the SBB Contact Center to have the confirmation of my answer: +41 51 225 78 56
