It might be the case that your lost item has already arrived at the central storage for lost items, that is indeed at Wylerstrasse, but it has not been processed yet. Only when it has been clearly identified as yours, and it has been registered accordingly, you will hear positive news. Important is, to provide sufficient information on the lost item (type, brand, colour, specialities, content, etc.), so it can be easily recognised as yours.
The processing can take up to three weeks according to our experience. This is due to the huge amount of items that are lost every day on Swiss transport services during peak travel season just as now. All you need is a little patience. If your item would not have a tracker, you would not even know that is at the central storage. These trackers are curses and blessings.
Can you go to Wylerstrasse in person? No, the central storage does not accept any visitors. The items are processed after the date they came in.
