Half Fare Travelcard PLUS - do you need to also buy a standard half fare card?

Hi,
I currently have an annual GA card, since for the past few years I’ve been commuting 5 days a week from Geneva to Yverdon-les-bains. I recently changed jobs and now I’m only commuting (also to Yverdon from Geneva) but maximum twice a week, and was thinking on cancelling my GA and getting the new Half Fare Travelcard PLUS.
For this new PLUS option, do you also need to buy a standard half fare? or is it included already in it?

No, it is not but certainly worth a thought, especially when you plan to take longer trips.

The normal half fare travelcard is not included in the Plus packages.

Taking into consideration that the discount of the half fare travelcard is 50% while the discount of the Plus packages is between 20 and 30% (if credit fully used), it should be obvious which one you’d get in the first place depending on your total yearly ticket purchases.
