Buying a STP at the station

I am having the problem with the VISA card I am using that I have read about from other’s posts. I don’t want to use a different card because I want to accumulate the points from this one.
My first day of travel will be 20 September. I will be leaving Tirano, IT on the Bernina Express for 15 days through Switzerland. Can I get a STP in Tirano? Are there work arounds to use the SBB app so I can get the tickets on line? I tried the other website (Swissrailways) and they charge a premium and 3% fee.
Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

You have to make sure your card supports VISA 3D secure ID. Talk to your bank. It must work, you are not the first person from overseas to purchase the Swiss Travel Pass.

Swissrailways.com is a reseller, no wonder do they add a commission.

The Raethian Railways have a ticket office in Tirano and it should be possible to buy a STP. I suggest to send a mail to obtain a confirmation:

You are right, but only with a “s” at the end. The site “swissrailway.com”, without “s”, is not official.
