mtharwat i don’t have Swiss pass or Half Fare Travel Card , can i buy only Saver Day pass ? and if i bought it for 1 day , and planning to go day trip to lucerne from zurich and go to mount rigi , is it fully covered by this pass ? or shall i buy any additional tickets ?
RolandP Hello mtharwat Saver Day Passes are also available at full fare as long as stock last. Yes, the Saver Day Pass can be used to visit Mt. Rigi. You can find all information and the map of validity on this website: https://www.sbb.ch/en/tickets-offers/tickets/day-passes/saver-day-pass.html The only thing I wondered is why you are going to stay in Zurich. Kind regards, Roland
RedBaron mtharwat Like regular tickets, Saver Day Passes are also available at both discounted and full fare, as easily seen on this page: https://www.sbb.ch/en/buying/pages/kontingent/kontingent.xhtml;jsessionid=06A2CD603DA8478084C9D9309AE898A4
mtharwat RolandP You mean that if i purchased Saver Day pass for 11 sept i can use it all over the plan What do you mean by “ why i stay in zurich” ?
RolandP Hello mtharwat Yes, it can be used on all red, yellow, black, and blue lines. I wondered why you have chosen Zurich as a base for your stay, what is your motivation? Kind regards, Roland
mtharwat RolandP beacuse it is the nearer city drom strasbourg france and considered as my second station in my euro trip , do u think this was a bad decision ?
mtharwat RedBaron yes , but i can buy just the pass without specify tge destination and after that all i need to hop on any transportation ? Am i right ? With no need for additional tickets ? (Inside lucerne or from lucerne to Rigi kulm ) ?
RedBaron mtharwat but i can buy just the pass without specify tge destination and after that all i need to hop on any transportation ? Yes, the SDP is your ticket, as long as the destination is included according to the validity map mentioned by Roland above. Rule of thumb: Trips to permanently populated places are included, touristic mountain rides are usually not included. Do not consider a public transportation ticket or pass/travelcard as a ‘booking’, it is actually an ‘admission fee’.
