Rail away offers do not seem to be working

I am trying to buy a rail away offer for the Appenzeller show diary and the Klee Museum at Bern - where I am supposed to get a discount on my admission with either my saver day pass or by buying the point to point rail tickets from the SBB website - but for each of those offers after I add the passenger details (either by selecting or adding) the ticket type has no options to select and date of journey and other details remain greyed out and unavailable.

I have tried multiple browsers, disabled VPN, deleted browsing history and allowed third party cookies but no luck.

The same problem occurs with the appenzeller show diary as well.
Is something wrong with those parts of the site.

My date of visit is August 31st. Though I am not even getting to the point where I specify my date. When I add a passenger (reduction selected is - other discounted ticket 2nd class as I have a saver day pass for that day) and try to do anything else on the page nothing is populated. I tried selecting half fare card or even no discount just to see what happened but same problem.

Anyway I will try again later - Assuming I can get this to work - I will be visiting Bern for a day from Zurich and during that visit will be visiting the Zentrum Paul Klee by bus from some point in the city (as I think bus is the recommended mode of transport). I already have a Saver day pass for that day so will not be buying any individual bus or train tickets. Other than selecting admission would I need to give any train/bus details while doing this transaction.

Yes, you have to choose a connection, although you hold the Saver Day Pass. On the day of travel, you are free to choose an alternate connection than the one selected; however, the system wants to be convinced that you travel there by public transport, only then the admission is granted with discount.

There is actually no need to purchase these offers online. You can also do so at the SBB ticket office for the same price.

One final question on this - can this leisure offer of a discounted admission be combined by travel on public transport (trains, buses) using a Berner Oberland Pass or does the travel have to be only using tickets or passes directly from SBB.

Great to hear!

Yes, it can also be used in combination with the Berner Oberland Pass although the latter is a private offer. Decisive to get a discounted admission is the fact that you are using public transit to get there and back; railway offers have the aim to reduce the pollution and the use of private cars.
