Does the rule ‘only valid on specific journeys’ also apply on connections to/from SBB services? For example if I buy a SuSa ticket for Zürich Letzigrund via T2 & T3 to Zürich HB to Nyon and B810 to my village am I required to take the exact Trams and Buses indicated on the tickets? Or could I head to the city centre a couple of hours earlier and/or take a later bus from Nyon?

I don’t want to break the rules but the app won’t give me a SuSa for the actual journey I want, only the best connections to/from the train.

Good day and welcome!

Your Supersaver ticket is tied to all services listed on your ticket. You cannot use the tram/bus at your own leisure.

It is possible that for certain connections there are no Supersaver tickets available because the local fare network does not support them. In this case, you can possibly get a train station to train station Supersaver ticket.

Thank you for your reply. Is there any way to ‘build’ your own journey and then have the SBB price it? For example if I don’t like the 6 minute connection time and would like to travel on the previous tram or next bus. And to offer SuperSaver prices should they also be available on the local services?

Currently, no, unless you adjust the minimum connection time setting as part of the settings for passengers with reduced mobility.

Most regional fare networks do not offer supersaver (zone) tickets. ZVV do not, Mobilis may in some cases.
