First time in Switzerland (Geneva, Neuchatel & Zurich)

Hi everyone, I’ll be going on a solo trip to Geneva, Neuchatel & Zurich where i’ll spend 3 nights in Neuchatel, 1 night in Geneva and last night in Zurich.

Appreciate recommendations on the must visit places for first timer like me.

My last day will be in Zurich on a Sunday which I realised that most shops will be closed that day…

It’s difficult to answer this question because we don’t know your interests. There are shops open on Sundays at Zurich Main Station. On the prestigious “Bahnhofstrasse” in Zurich you have more and more international chain stores selling the same merchandise as in any other city in the world. You can find the same ones in Geneva.

From Neuchâtel you could also visit Bern or La Chaux-de-Fonds. Both cities are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, but for very different reasons:

I’ll be visiting watch manufacture and planning to visit Musée international d’horlogerie at La Chaux-de-Fonds.

From my research i noted that there are definitely a lot of places to visit so i was wondering are there any places that are must visit when in Geneva, Neuchatel & Zurich. 🙂

It really depends of your interests. I don’t know if you prefer to visit the Kunsthaus (Fine arts) or the FIFA museum (Football/soccer) in Zürich.
