The Swiss Half Fare Card (not pass) is not automatically taken into account when purchasing tickets; the resident’s Half Fare Card is, however. You must made the appropriate settings yourself. See the link.
The Swiss Half Fare Card is a ticket type of document, this is why it appears under tickets. It is not considered as subscription that is automatically taken into account when purchasing tickets.
What concerns the refund:
Full fare tickets can be canceled by yourself free of charge provided
- they are not of type ‘Supersaver’
- their validity is in the future
- you purchased it online by yourself with your SBB user account
You can refund 1 full fare ticket whose validity is today or was in the past, provided
they are not of type ‘Supersaver’
- the e-ticket is issued on the name of the Swiss Half Fare Card holder or, for paper tickets, the half fare eligibility was confirmed by the train staff with a written attestation. A five Swiss Francs administration free is applied.
