How to select Swiss travel pass to get discount while booking tickets

While booking tickets in SBB app, I am not able to select Swiss travel pass for discount as it is not found. Only GA pass, Half fare card etc are found. What to do? Can I continue with GA second class in place of Swiss travel pass?

Why do you want to book tickets? The Swiss Travel Pass is your ticket, simply show it with your physical passport or ID card if a control occurs.

Also, while booking from Zurich to Munich through SBB app, there is no Swiss travel pass option to select the discount. Only GA pass is showing. What can be done? Can I go ahead by selecting GA travel pass for the part of journey in Germany ? Any discounts offered for that part of journey, if we have a Swiss travel pass .

You can book tickets on this website or at the ticket office in Grindelwald. It is not recommended to buy them in advance, wait to know if the weather is good, it is very expensive to see only fog, rain or snow.

Mystic while booking from Zurich to Munich through SBB app

You need a ticket only from St. Margrethen SG to Munich. I suggest to make two transactions:

– Make only a seat reservation from Zurich to Munich on oebb.at or in the ÖBB app.

– Buy a ticket from St.Margrethen to Munich on the same ÖBB site or compare the prices and conditions with Bahn.de or the DB Navigator app. You may have other options for the Saver or Supersaver Tickets.
