I am writing here because I lost my bag during an SBB journey and so far I have not been able to get any help through the usual channels. I am hoping that someone from the community might guide me or share any useful information.
The bag was lost on 20th September 2025 while traveling from Interlaken to Spiez. I was on Iceland 81, which departed Interlaken at 11:04 AM, and I was seated in Coach 6. Unfortunately, I left my bag there and realized it too late.
The bag contained some important and personal items, including my identity card, passport-size photographs, spectacles, water bottles, an adapter, a OnePlus mobile charger, Realme earphones, chocolates, and an Apple device box. Losing these items has caused me a lot of inconvenience, especially the identity card and essential accessories.
I immediately filed a lost and found complaint with SBB, but I have not received any response so far. I also tried calling the helpline number multiple times. Unfortunately, no one picked up the calls, and now that I have left Switzerland, the number does not connect anymore, even though I have activated an international pack.
I kindly request the community members for any guidance on how to escalate this issue or reach the right people at SBB lost and found. If anyone has been in a similar situation or knows how long it normally takes for SBB to respond, I would be grateful for your advice. Also, if by chance someone who traveled on the same coach noticed a bag with these belongings, any information would be immensely helpful.
