GA 1 Month Card for Visitor?

Hello, my husband and I will be visiting Switzerland for one month. We are from outside of the EU. Is the GA 1 Month Card available to a visitor? I am trying to figure out the best option to purchase to give us access to all public transport for one month only. The 15 day travel pass is not enough for our time there. I am interested to know if the GA 1 Month Card also gives free admission or discounted admission to the museums and other things the same as the 15 (or less) day travel pass. Many thanks in advance for your kind assistance. We are arriving/departing Geneva and our home base is in the Interlaken area, for reference.

Yes, the 1-month GA Travelcard is available for everybody. On this page, under the section “Important information about the 1-month GA Travelcard”, you can also find the list of all accepted IDs.

Unlike the Swiss Travel Pass, there are no discounts on museums and mountain excursions, and you must register with online identification (or at the ticket office). All products designed for tourists can be purchased online as a guest.

I think the GA 1 month Travelcard has the same area of validity as other GA Travelcards. That’s what the SBB website says. That would mean it does have mountain excursion discounts, but not museum discounts. Someone please correct me, with a source, if I’m wrong. Thanks

That’s correct, the GA 1-month card has the same validity as the GA. However, the discounts on excursions are different from those of the Swiss Travel Pass (for the latter, the discount percentage is specified, whereas for the GA, you need to inquire with the company managing that specific route). The museum discount or free entry applies to the Swiss Travel Pass but not to the GA range.
