I tried to buy a ticket to Venice from Interlaken West on the SBB site, and I’ve just found that this option appeared on the condition that I could get a discount.

“Half-Fare travelcard ½/3-year”

Does this mean that I who have a monthly half fare travelcard can get a discount?

If you own a Half-Fare Travelcard for one month and you are travelling between the month where you have a valid half price travelcard then you can profit from this discount.
