No. There is no way for the Airline or the Railway to prove that you were not on a particular train. Trains do not have check in. Trains work on “proof of purchase”. Your train ticket permits you to be on a train, but it often happens that this is not checked.
So “skiplagging” with train tickets is no issue.
Note that you are not obliged to take the train mentioned on the ticket. You can travel on an earlier or a later train. And you can use the ticket only part of the way.
(In my opinion SBB should in stead of this rather complicated Air Rail to a limited set of destinations just have a deal with the Airlines to add a Day Pass to the plane ticket…)
