Saver Day Pass accompanying children under the Swiss Family Card conditions?

Hi,

I have purchased Saver Day Passes for myself and my wife.
We are planning to travel from Tirano to Chur on the Bernina Express panoramic train, and I have already purchased seat reservations for all four of us (myself, my wife, and our two children aged 8).

Please, could someone confirm whether our children are covered by our Saver Day Passes (as accompanying children under the Swiss Family Card conditions), or whether we need to purchase separate tickets or Saver Day Passes for them?

YES, provided one parent uses the Swiss Half Fare Card. This is not obvious from your question.

Thank you very much for your respond.
We don’t have Swiss Half Fare Card, we just purchased Saver Day Pass.
So, in my case, I think the best option is to purchase Saver Day Pass for Children.

If its just for one day, you could simply purchase the Day Pass for Children. It has the same coverage as the Saver Day Pass and is still cheaper than the SDP.

If it is for multiple days, however, you could purchase the Junior Card for CHF 30/year as it is the equivalent of the Swiss Fanily Card; but, for tourists. it is only available at the counter, not online.
