question about validity of daypass and travel to italy

I will travel to italy and I have a daypass. Till where is my swiss carte journalière (daypass) and from where do I need to book an italian or european ticket. My trip is to varese. so, I will travel to brig with my daypass and then do I have to book a ticket from brig or from domodossola to continue to varese? thanks a lot for your help. cheers

You can find the validity map of your ticket here. For your case, you will need an additional ticket Domodossola – Varese.

If going to Varese it may be better to travel via Lugano. In that case you would only need a ticket from Cancello - Gaggiolo.

but from Brig it’s way more easier and quicker via Domodossola 🙂 Going via Lugano would mean, go back to Bern then to Lucerne or Zürich and then take the Gotthard tunnel direction south 🙂
