I am traveling with a group of 12. We fly into Zurich and need to take a train to Zermatt. I am interested in buying our train tickets as a group so that we are all on the same train. What happens if our flight is late and we miss the train we book? Can the group tickets be used on later trains that day? Is it cheaper to book as a group or should each family book their own tickets?

Thank you for your request.

For your trip, I recommend the group ticket. It is 30% cheaper than the normal ticket. We advise you to allow enough time at Zurich airport. If you miss the train, you can use the ticket via the same route but the seat reservation is no longer guaranteed.
