Halbtax discounts

hello, I booked for myself a halbtax which is a valid on 1 March however when I try purchasing a ticket, it does not give me any discounts, I would like to know how I can figure it out and
how I can know which tickets I can have a discount on. It’s the first time buying one so I’m a little confused with it.

While seeing the ticket offers, please use the pen next to your name to change the discount settings.

thank you for the reply, however first it says I have two accounts, but it’s not showing me the discounts either - it’s only showing me one price ( which maybe is the way it is displayed) I look up on Internet without logging in. It’s the same price for the same journey.

My other question is, does the travel discouts card work from traveling from like Paris into basel ?

There is a selection for which price to show just next to the selection of the travel date:

The preset is usually Halbtax (Half-fare card enabled).
For your other question; No, the Halbtax only works inside Switzerland. You do not get any discount outside Switzerland.

Hello Alice_

With a yearly Half Fare Travelcard (not the monthly Half Fare Card for tourists), you have a small discount on TGV Lyria tickets from/to Paris but only for the regular fares, not for Saver tickets.

You should indicate the discount “Half Fare Travelcard”. See the second post to find out where to do it.
