I will spend basically for months studying in Switzerland and I would like to know If It is possible for me to get the residents Half Fare Card?

Yes, it is. If you are under 25 years of age, even at a reduced cost. The minimum duration (validity) is 1 year and you must cancel the subscription latest one month before it expires, best right after you bought it - it will remain valid even after the contract cancellation.
