How To Buy The 1-Month GA Travelcard

Hi, I’m about to buy the 1-month GA Travelcard and I just want to make sure I’m understanding the process correctly.

My trip starts in July 2026, and I will stay at my first AirBNB for 11 nights, and then move to another AirBNB in Interlaken.

I would like to buy the 1-month GA Travelcard online, that way I’m ready to travel by train as soon as I enter Switzerland.

When ordering online, can I have the Swiss Pass card mailed to my AirBNB host, or what would be the best way to do that? And how far in advance should I order?

When staying in an AirBnB, make sure it is a legal one and they do pay the tourist tax. If not, you shall cancel it right away.

Depending on where you live (and how reliable your post services are), the card can be dispatched to your home place. Or the AirBnB. Just be aware that further mailings will be sent there as well.

Hi Roland. I’m living in the United States, and will be gone traveling in Asia prior to my Switzerland trip, so I’m not sure it would work to mail the card to my home address even if SBB had the capability to do that (which it seems they don’t). So I guess I’ll be mailing it to the AirBNB. Thanks
