Delay and GA Night Pass

Hi,
If there is a train that should stop at 18:59 and it is delayed and stops at 19:01, can I take it with the GA Night pass?

No.
The Night GA Travelcard is valid from 7pm. Validity is based on the scheduled departure time. For departures before 7pm, a ticket valid as far as the first stop made by the train after 7pm must be purchased. This rule also applies to journeys with EasyRide or other check-in/check-out solutions.

In theory, my dear colleague Reto is right.

In case of a delay (railway fault), you can use the GA night on a the train, whose scheduled departure is before 19:00, and the actual departure is after 19:00.

It does not apply for on-time departure, not even 1 minute earlier.

If it is you going to delay the train for two minutes, just to make sure your GA will be accepted, it will cost you a hefty fine, however.

RolandP so the rules did change? I think it was made very clear for quite a while that the scheduled departure time is the one which counts no matter what?
