How to disable the new "journey with map" mode?

It starts with this very intrusive welcome screen, the journey tab is not in overview mode anymore (which showed all legs of your journey). Now half of the screen is used for a map of Switzerland or of the train station although I know my way quite well; Track information has moved to the bottom, not a good user interface choice, too. I know that I can get back the old journey mode via one extra click (necessary every time). How to disable that “map regression”, for good?

you can’t disable it, but you may select toggle between Train informations and Map with the button right of the Star (with the Star you are able to store the current journey, I use this method to have my planed way back already handy when I need it later on.)

I have the same request. Would be great to be able to change the default menu shown. The map looks nice, but is just way less practical to quickl check an info somewhere allong the journey.
Also it doesnt seem to be possible to refresh the current view in the map view (usually done by swiping down) and generally the swiping interface to change between the map / other infos in the cards below is buggy. If you start swiping at the wrong place, it doesnt work

Please please please give me the option to turn it off, it’s really a terrible user experience. I don’t need this map on a regular basis. Please, pretty please!
