TGV booking for Zurich to Paris.

I am planning to book a ticket from Zurich HB to Paris Gare de Lyon on 6th July. When searching, I see a direct train option at 15.34, duration 4 hr 4 mins. But when I select that option to book tickets, it always shows a popup that “Unfortunately, there are no longer any tickets available for the connection you have selected”. I tried to book the same train for a later date as well, but the same popup appears.

Not sure what the issue is. Are the bookings for that train not open yet? Is it due to the scheduled maintenance on that route?

The timetable will change due to engineering works. You have to leave Zürich earlier and change in Basel. Add « via Baden » to find the connection:

When will SBB finally get rid of this most awful of error messages? Because tourists, when they see that, assume that indeed the trains are sold out, and start looking at flights or rental cars. At least, if tickets are temporary unavailable, say that. Or directly offer tickets with a change in Basel…

Yes, direct trains are cancelled between Zürich and Basel. I think that the line have a limited capacity on that day and is fully occupied by Swiss trains.
