When you buy something with TWINT or any other credit/debit card, you have always two phases:
— A reservation is made synchronously, to be sure that your account/card is valid and you have enough money or credit to pay.
— A few hours or days later, the merchant confirms the purchase asynchronously and your account is definitely debited.
If something goes wrong after the reservation by TWINT and before the edition of the ticket, SBB will never confirm the purchase and the reservation will be automatically deleted. Usually you can see in your e-banking if it is only a reservation or if the account was debited.
