HI,

My family of 4 would be travelling in Europe in Dec 2023. Anyone can kindly advise us how should we proceed to book tickets if we would like to travel from Zurich to Milan via the scenic route instead of the express route.

You can purchase tickets for your travel from Zurich to Milan on SBB.ch. If you prefer to take the scenic route, you can look for train connections that include stops in picturesque cities such as Lucerne and Lugano. On our timetable, you can filter your search results by stopping points or preferred travel routes.

Please note that, due to the Gotthard Tunnel closure, all trains from Zürich to Milan will travel on the panoramic route. Here you will find all information.
