Hello everyone, I have a Swiss Travel Pass and if I look at the SBB website for Kleine Scheidegg to Wengen, it shows that the fare is CHF 16 if I have a “Half Fare Travelcard”.
I tried to buy the tickets on the SBB mobile phone app today and for travel cards, there is no Swiss Travel Pass", so I selected “Half Fare travelcard”.
The ticket taker informed me that the Swiss Travel Pass wasn’t valid for a discount on that route, so I had to pay the difference, which is no problem. But I wanted to know if there was a more convenient way to buy future tickets like this and find out the fare ahead of time. The ticket person told me that the best way was probably to buy the ticket at the station, but I liked the convenience of buying the tickets online while I’m on my way to the station. Is there a way for me to figure out the fare ahead of time, and/or to buy the ticket with the correct fare on the SBB mobile phone app?
