How can I use the day pass of local transportation supplement to my point to point ticket

Hi Xinyan,

The regular point-to-point ticket, e.g. from Zurich to Lucerne, does not include local transport.

There is a special offer for this: “City-Ticket”. In addition to the journey between the selected place of departure and the destination, the City-Ticket also includes a day pass for local traffic at the place of departure and/or the destination.

Thanks, Daniel. How can I validate this day pass if it’s outside of Switzerland? I am planning to purchase a ticket to Milan. There is an option for purchasing train tickets with a day pass.

Hi Xinyan

A Day Pass is valid to either Chiasso or Domodossola. From there you need a ticket to Milan.
